The operation of the Eddy Current separators is based on the difference in electrical conductivity of metals and non-metals.

Using a conveyor belt, the product steam to be processed is ‘folded’ towards a high speed magnetic rotor with a large number of magnets in pairs.

The magnetic rotor creates a rapidly changing magnetic field, which ensures that non-metals are ejected from the product flow, as it were.
