HDS-S

The HDS-S density separator is WIMA’s entry-level model. It is equipped with a closed water circuit and 2 water chambers. The material enters the first water chamber, equipped with discharge conveyor. The adjustable propeller generates a flow that discharges the light materials to the discharge conveyor and the heavy materials sink to the bottom and are discharged with a heavy auger. This is a shankless auger that can dispose of pieces up to 150mm without difficulty. You have the choice of having the discharge conveyor of the light materials go to the left or to the right. Using the adjustable flow rate, materials with a density of strong, > 1g/cm³ can enter the light fraction. For proper separation it is recommended to limit the difference between the small and large particles. The purer the water the better the density separator can do its job. For wastewater processing, you can use the LA series lamellar separator.
